第九屆立法院今天開議，總統當選人蔡英文今天以民主進步黨主席身分，透過社群網站臉書貼文對民進黨籍立法委員說，「我們的目標，就是改革、改革，再改革」。
她說，順利選出新任立法院長和副院長，許多人對首次政黨輪替的新國會抱有許多期待。她祝福新國會，要為國家開創新時代，「身為民主進步黨的黨主席，我要特別對我們的黨籍立委說，我們的目標，就是改革、改革，再改革」。
蔡英文表示，國家有許多民生法案需優先通過，也有許多長年累積的問題，除須從行政機關著手，也需立法機關推動修法，讓國家跟得上社會變化。
她說，在討論與制定這些解決國家問題方案時，她心裡總想著在各處遇到的孩子們，他們的一生，「都將深深受到我們行動的影響」，從法律規範到產業方向，「我們打造的環境，也有機會讓他們在成長過程中，成為一個更有自信、更勇敢、更多元的台灣人」。
